Traditional Dental Assistant Requirements
A traditional dental assistant in New Hampshire may perform basic supportive dental procedures specified by the state dental practice act under the direct or general supervision of a licensed dentist.
There are no education or training requirements for this level of dental assisting. A traditional dental assistant is a dental assistant who is neither a Certified Dental Assistant nor a Graduate Dental Assistant.
